Gateway Drafting & Design – Services

Gateway Drafting & Design has built a reputation for listening to the customer.

We will sit with you to discuss your ideas, thoughts, plans or anything else that pertains to the design of your project.

We then mold our ideas and suggestions with yours to help formulate the best plans for your home building project. 

We will successfully guide you with our expertise from start to finish, and answer any questions you have each step of the way.

Steps that we will take:

1.  Initial consultation.

In our first meeting we will talk over all your intentions, requirements, and your budget - and discuss different options.

2.  Preliminary drawings.

We draw up your first conceptual drawing and then meet with you again to review and make changes.  

3.  Finalize drawings. 

The process is then repeated a second and even third time, if needed, to revise the drawings and make sure every detail is covered to your satisfaction.

4.  Draw up construction documents.

All plans are drawn using 3D programs, which assures them of being accurate. These plans will include a foundation plan, floor plan, building sections, roof framing plan, and standard details as well as elevations.

5.  Final working drawings.

Plans are sent out to be reviewed, approved and stamped by a New York State Licensed Engineer.  We then meet with you again to give you the finished stamped plans.
